Following our Summer Auction, our second edition of DD#15 — Issues!² also took place at Vrij Palais in the Winter of 2022 featuring the 50 fabulous artworks that completed our selection.
For this edition we had the generous support of AFK, so we could run the auction even more smoothly and with the satisfaction that our efforts are recognized and appreciated by Amsterdam, the birthplace of Dead Darlings!

This time we decided to offset the cold winter vibe with a bit of humor, and staying with the newspaper format for our catalogue, we printed a tabloid, poking fun at the sensationalist headlines and “gossipy” design style of the yellow press, while still disseminating all the relevant information required in a catalogue.
We kept each other warm in the crowded space and the auction was conducted in a festive mood fueled once again by Oedipus beers and warm gluhwein.

With one successful auction in Berlin in the beginning of the year, and two editions in Amsterdam, we felt that in 2022 we did our very best to make up for lost time! It was a great way to end the year, where despite all odds, a record number of Dead Darlings auctions took place!
