After two years of lock-downs, isolation and online events, on April 9th, Dead Darlings finally stepped back into the limelight with a vengeance! A real live auction with a real live audience (350 people) and to top it off, it all took place in Berlin!

We were delighted to welcome old friends and meet new ones at the extraordinary Heimathafen Theatre venue that quickly became our home away from home.

For this event we asked artists to reflect on weather their piece belongs in the shadows, or deserves to be placed center stage... Is it forever an understudy, or does it have the potential to be a protagonist? The wonderful theatrical backdrop of our Berlin auction inspired us to consider all those works that haven’t yet had their moment in the spot-light and get them ready for their close up!
